The Abell Framework defines a business along three dimensions, the customer groups the business serves, the functions its offering to fullfil the customers needs and the technologies are deployed to realise these functions. It can be summarized into three questions:
- Who do we serve?
- Define Customer segments
- What do we offer?
- Define Value Proposition
- How do we do that?
- Define Business Model
