Inception Phase

GOAL

The goal of the inception phase in the context of the FEI Software development process it to get the project scope defined and agreed upon with stakeholders: Marketing Manager Product Manager Applications Engineer TSG Engineer PE Engineer

At the end of inception a 25% certain schedule should be possible. Depending on the project type (see project tailoring), the end of the inception may correspond with a PMP Initiation Exit.
